Simple Recruitment are looking for Refuse Loaders for a temporary to permanent opportunity with our client in Willand

The Job:

The role will cover the below responsibilities

  • To work as part of a crew or lone working to collect and process waste material from households, trade premises and other locations in Mid Devon, within a round or rounds on the day specified.
  • To ensure all items on the drivers note are completed and actioned.
  • To assist the drivers when required in manoeuvring vehicles
  • Providing a service to the public.
  • Following instructions and adhering to health and safety requirements.

Salary:

£11.44 per hour

Hours:

37 hours per week on a task and finish basis

Monday to Friday with Saturdays worked after a Bank Holiday

About You:

In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of an employee at that grade

The role does not require previous experience as full training & H&S Induction will be provided; however, the right candidate will be physically fit as lifting and bending is an essential part of the role. Own transport is essential due to location.
