RE Teacher

RE and PSHE Teacher required ASAP.

Location: Rotherham South Yorkshire.

Tradewind are seeking an experienced and dynamic RE and PSHE teacher to work at a high-performing school in Rotherham . The role is across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and the successful candidate will be expected to start September 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging RE and PSHE lessons to a high standard.
• Encourage students to develop their critical thinking skills and promote their personal and social development.
• Assess, monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance.
• Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher meetings and open evenings.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Relevant degree in RE and/or PSHE education
• Proven experience in teaching RE and PSHE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
• DBS on the update service.
