A leading global FMCG client are looking to recruit for a Quality Control Supervisor to work alongside and support their in-house Quality function. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Quality Control team along with training and development of individual and new team members.
Salary: From £22,000 - £23,000 p.a. + Pension

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day functioning of the QC team along with training and development of individual and new team members.
To ensure that the Quality Manual and Good Manufacturing practices are maintained.
To be responsible for maintaining and improving BRC, TFMS, HACCP and Operational Hygiene and safety practices.
To implement positive release systems from the Pack House, to lead the team using excellent communication techniques.
To measure and record all operation KPI into the business data capture system, ensuring all practices are conducted within the business technical parameters, and produce high quality reports.
To ensure the quality of products supplied to the company meet the procurement specifications.
To monitor the conditioning, grading, packing and quality through to final delivery to ensure that customer specifications are strictly adhered to.
The successful candidate for the Quality Control Supervisors position will have the following experience:
Educated to QCF level 5 - 6l in a Food Science, Horticulture or Agricultural based discipline - Desirable
Experience of a FMCG environment - Essential
A minimum of two years' experience working within a managerial position - Essential
