Reed Accountancy are recruiting for a purchase ledger to join a busy accounts team for a very well established company in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a successful friendly team and work for a great company

Your duties as a purchase ledger will be:

- To ensure all invoices are recorded accurately on the system
- To ensure invoices and credit notes are accurately coded to the relevant cost centre
- To monitor and manage invoice posting with authorisation at correct level
- Point of contact for suppliers and internal employees for invoice queries
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly
- Ensure invoices/credit notes are scanned accurately
- Answer management accountant/plant queries as needed
- To accurately set up new suppliers
- To provide cover for cash management daily process as and when required
- To maintain management reports
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required

This is a full time, permanent position with the working hours of Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm.
