Purchase Ledger Assistant
Newmarket
£10-12 per hour

I am working with a client in Newmarket who is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. The role will last for around 3 months and will require someone to ensure an effective process with their suppliers as well as ensuring costs are recognised in a timely fashion.

Main responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of supplier invoices, credit notes and staff expenses into Sage 200 including coding and matching invoices
• Raising Purchase orders
• Maintaining the allocated Purchase Ledger Accounts
• Assisting with the production of weekly BACS payments
• Assisting other members of the finance team with the month end process
• Preparing prepayments and accruals
