Our Client, leading specialists in Block Management, are recruiting for their accounts team in Darlington. They are seeking two Purchase Ledger Adminstators to join their team supporting them with the accounts function. They are committed to providing the highest level of service, professionalism, and expertise to all our clients.

Role:

  • Payment of Supplier invoices on behalf of managed properties, in accordance with approved budgets
  • Liaison with Property Managers (to include Directors as and when required) regarding payment of one-off contractor invoices in respect of maintenance completed including major works
  • Investigate and resolve invoice anomalies with suppliers
  • Maintain accurate purchase ledger records using bespoke accounting system
  • Via On-line banking make inter account transfers as and when required
  • Make BACS and cheque payments to suppliers handling of incoming payments from suppliers
  • Liaison with the bank as and when required
  • Monitoring of bank accounts Barclays and controlling the cash flow in SC accounts
  • Client expense receipts and record of petty cash
  • Dealing with Direct Debit mandates
  • Authorise all Landlord and Utility Bills
  • Communication with suppliers via letter, email and telephone on a daily basis

Person:

  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Package:

  • Salary Range £21,000.00 - £22,000.00
