Property Coordinator

Our client specialise in Student Accommodation are looking for a Property Coordinator to join their team in Clifton.

You will receive a salary of £17,000 - £22,000 depending on experience and be working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm free parking on site.
The team will make you feel like you're part of the furniture from day one - they are so nice and friendly and will give you support whenever you need it and they make a cracking cup of tea !
All you need to be is friendly and open and confident
You will be working within a small friendly team
Every day will be different, you will be out and about visiting students properties - you need to be able to confident as you will speaking to contractors and students
Main Duties:
- Prioritise daily workload and work to deadlines
- Manage and address property maintenance issues in a timely manner and to a successful completion. (This is to include property visits)
- Obtain quotes, appoint suitable contractors on a job by job basis, and sign off the relevant invoices
- Manage all small refurbishment projects to successful completion
- Build and foster relationships with tenants, colleagues and suppliers
- Organise check-in and check-out inventory inspections
- Carry out property inspections, and produce landlord reports
- Ensure all necessary property certification is up-to-date
- Read energy meters, log information and relay information to the utility providers
- Manage key stock and distribution for contractors and staff
- Provide support to the operational staff as required
- Manage the out of hours emergency calls at least two calendar weeks a month

Skills and Requirements
- Property management experience ( desirable)
- Previous experience in the property management/lettings industry is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working on own initiative and with minimum supervision
- Making responsible decisions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure
- Professional presentation and manner
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Problem solving and using initiative
- Highly motivated and with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence
