Project Manager - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - 6 Months - Outside IR35

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced WMS Project Manager who thrives in the heart of warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in transitioning our client's legacy system to a modern, automated WMS, ensuring their warehouse stays ahead of the curve. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering multiple WMS projects and possesses a deep understanding of warehouse operations.

This is initially a 6 Month contract, outside of IR35, presence on-site is required as such candidates must be within a commutable distance or stay away from home during the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of our new WMS, from requirement gathering to go-live.

  • Work closely with warehouse operatives to understand on-the-ground challenges and requirements.

  • Ensure the new system aligns with our operational needs and industry best practices.

  • Manage project time-lines, budget, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for process improvements.


  • Extensive experience in WMS project management and delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover the best solutions.

  • Willingness to be on-site, especially during the initial phases of the project, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements thereafter.
