Our client - a very successful Travel Operator is in search of a Product & Contracting Manager to spearhead the development, management, and optimisation of their escorted tour offerings and contracting agreements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail to maintain a competitive, diverse, and profitable product portfolio across our client's brands.
Product & Contracting Manager - What will I be doing?
- Tour Itinerary Design: Develop engaging tour itineraries to set our client apart in the market.
- Contract Negotiation: Secure favourable contracting agreements to ensure competitive rates and terms.
- Program Delivery: Ensure tour programs meet financial and customer experience KPIs.
- Quality Monitoring: Oversee tour product quality and address improvements with suppliers.
- Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and explore new partnerships.
Product & Contracting Manager - What experience do I need?
You will have previous product management experience in the travel industry ideally with escorted tours. It is essential that you have strong negotiation abilities and a proven track record in contracting with suppliers. You will need to be proficient in data analysis and interpretation. A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences is a must and the ability to collaborate across many departments is essential.
Product & Contracting Manager - What else do I need to know?
This role is office based 4 days a week with one day from home - our client is based in the York area. There is a good salary on offer with a benefits scheme that includes a health care cash plan, discounted holidays, company pension and good holiday allowance. There will be some travel overseas.
