Principal Java Developer-South Bristol-Up to £65,000

My client, an established and reputable organisation based in the outskirts of Bristol, are currently recruiting for Principal Java Developer with a minimum of 7 years’ experience to join their rapidly expanding team. This Role is for Candidates who are self motivated with a Strong depth of knowledge in Java and proven leadership through an entire project lifecycle.

The position offers a salary of £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience and includes a fantastic range of benefits.


You will be working closely with the Lead, Delivery and Test teams to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and customer requirements are met. Whilst providing estimates and assisting Software lead to manage progress for delivery and deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills and will be responsible for guiding less experienced Developers in the team. You will take ownership and responsibility of Technical tasks and solutions through the delivery process and advocate continuous improvement through effective recommendations and driving change.


-Experience with Agile Methodologies and full software development lifecycle
-Version Control (Git)
-Knowledge of Cyber Security
