We have a unique and exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Planning team on a 6 month secondment, based in Bristol office.
As the Workforce Planning Co-ordinator you'll support the Resource Planning Manager in the forecasting, planning and scheduling for the Customer Service Teams in Bristol, delivering efficiencies and effective use of resource by working closely with key stakeholders
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for supporting accurate forecasting and scheduling
You'll make proactive and reactive planning decisions within set guidelines, based upon available information, ensuring that service levels are attained and balanced with PCA sensible work/life balance.
Using the appropriate systems (such as the Workforce Management System) you'll analyse and check all outage requests from the Team Leaders against the staff requirements to maintain sufficient resource.
You'll develop and sustain relationships with the Team Leaders liaising with them to book in 121s, team meetings, training etc. at the most suitable times. You'll also manage holiday requests to agreed allocation, shift swaps and flexible working requests
You'll manage objections whenever requests cannot be agreed in a pragmatic way and ensure that alternatives are suggested.
You'll analyse trends and information and proactively manage on the day changes to 'the plan' which could be the result of higher/lower demand (call volume) or supply (PCA availability).
You'll influence and negotiate with Team Leaders and other members of the Customer Service Operations Team when making changes to existing work schedules to attain service levels.
What we're looking for
You must have
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong decision-making skills
- Familiarity with working to deadlines and prioritising work
- A keen eye for detail
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with interactions across levels of seniority
We'd also like you to have
- Experience in an analytical role implementing resulting actions
- Knowledge of Workforce Management Systems
- Knowledge of Telephony Systems
- This role is on a 37.5hr contract
- Whilst the role is based in Bristol occasional travel to our Tunbridge Wells office will be required.
