My client, a leading insurance business in Milton Keynes, is seeking a driven and ambitious commercial broker with a natural ability to build strong relationships. This role is ideal for someone who excels in developing partnerships with colleagues and key insurers rather than dealing directly with clients.
As a Placement Broker, you will support brokers across the UK by identifying suitable markets, negotiating terms with insurers, and ensuring competitive placements. You will manage insurer relationships, prepare market presentations, and handle policy documentation, acting as the key link between brokers and insurers. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, motor, liability, and complex risks, are essential.
Candidates should come from a commercial broking or insurer background and be confident in placing hard-to-place risks. Attention to detail, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key. This is an office-based role with hybrid working available, offering a collaborative and supportive environment with free on-site parking.
