We currently have an opening for someone with the right mix of skills to join the team as a Performance and Information Assistant to work across the children's social care department.
The successful candidates will work closely with children's social care and other members of the Performance and Information team which is located within the heart of Bromley's multi-disciplinary Strategic and Business Support Services division (SBSS). The post will predominantly work across Children's Social Care but with opportunities to develop into service areas.
Main duties shall include but are not limited to:
*Support the delivery of the Departments performance framework for children's social care
*Support and promote service transformation and improvement
*Conduct basic statistical analysis on a range of performance information across all service areas within children's social care
*Support the Department in meeting the requirements of external inspections and the completion of relevant statutory returns
*Provide managers with timely, quality performance management information in easy to interpret formats
*Make full use of the management information systems that are available across education and care services department and assist colleagues in other service areas with their data needs
The successful candidate should:
*Hold a broad range of ICT skills and be familiar with databases, an advanced level of Excel and have considerable experience of using Business Objects as a reporting tool.
*The ideal candidates will be proactive, and a proven track record in performance management in Children's and/or Adults Social Care services.
