£40 to £45k basic + bonus
My client, a global advertising technology company and pioneer of Search Intelligence are looking for a Performance Analyst who will be responsible for the analysis of all search term and ad campaign data, including the production of bespoke trend, correlation and performance insights with this goal in mind that analysis should be focused to ensure we over achieve on client KPi`s across DR, brand and video campaigns.
The candidate will be expected to work closely with the trading strategy team who are continually split testing and analysing along with our product team who build out algorithms in need of continual analysis. You will be responsible for identifying and expanding on key business opportunities to help improve performance, delivery and margin on their respective campaigns.
The role is technology focused and so requires an individual with technical ability but also experience of working with data and real time bidding within the programmatic environment. The role also requires that they have proven background in performance analysis - a high degree of business acumen is required.
The candidate must have a good foundation in display or search advertising, analytical, practical solution finder and importantly be able to visualize and communicate their work clearly to all levels of the business.
Analyse large amounts of search, behavioural, and media data using statistical modelling and pattern analysis techniques, to understand the nature of the business and uncover new opportunities.
Work closely with the Trading, finance, data and product teams
Participate in the planning and design of new reporting and analysis products for internal and external use.
Communicate research findings to technical and non-¬-technical audiences internally and externally
Excellent knowledge of `big data` and audience segmentation
A good degree (2:1 or higher) in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent
Ex-Trader or optimizer turned analyst is preferred
Proven Programmatic Performance background
Excellent communication skills: the candidate needs to be able to present insights and reports to internal & external stakeholders
Proven experience with statistical analysis
Experience in advanced report building to improve team efficiencies and insight
Exposure to research statistics and experiment design and analysis
Familiarity with SQL or programming experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Good teamwork skills
