Pension Scheme Manager Leeds

Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a TPA who are presently recruiting for a Pension Scheme Manager in Leeds

Areas of Responsibility:

  • To develop and take ownership of the Company vision, Business Plan and values, and along with the team, be totally committed to these.
  • To be responsible for pro-actively managing and co-ordinating the delivery of all aspects of scheme management for pension schemes.
  • To take ownership of the scheme’s risk register and ensure that the risks are regularly reviewed and that the risk management controls are carried out.
  • To develop a customer-intimate strategy for delivering a comprehensive pension service to Employers in schemes operated by the Company.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with employers in order to support their relationship, liaising with own clients, advising on all service related matters pertaining to the Company and its schemes.
  • Initiate and present appropriate communications with employers and members including presentations and reports.
  • To co-ordinate Scheme projects, covering areas of Scheme growth and development.
  • To manage budgets for the Team and any projects within agreed levels.
  • To act as a source of technical expertise to employees, members and employers on technical issues in relation to the role and co-ordinate the development of all client facing managers.
  • Manage employer issues through to completion as directed.

Experience required

  • 3yrs experience of occupational pension schemes, including administration, corporate accounting, actuarial valuations and employer debt on withdrawal
  • Knowledge of pension schemes (DB, DC CARE).
  • Pursuing PMI qualifications, knowledge of investment strategy and actuarial principles
