Payroll Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Payroll professional at a medium sized Accountancy Practice in London Bridge.

With a varied client base covering a whole range of businesses from Sole Traders to Multinationals, my client is a successful and renowned provide of Tax, Audit and Payroll services among others. 

This position is the perfect opportunity for someone with an interest in Client Payroll and some experience in the field, who wishes to learn and develop to progress their career.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you'll initially be assisting with verifying and inputting data from clients, dealing effectively with queries and ensuring and excellent level of customer service is maintained.

You'll also be liaising with HMRC and assisting with other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Training on Payroll will be provided, and as time goes on you'll be able to take on more responsibility and have a much more hands on involvement with the Payroll process from start to finish, and eventually take ownership of a portfolio of Client Payrolls.

The ideal candidate will be bright and enthusiastic, with a desire to further their knowledge of Payroll. Some Payroll experience is desirable but not essential, as is working knowledge of Star Payroll.

You must be a clear and confident communicator with a penchant for excellent customer service.

A high level of attention to detail and strong Excel skills are a must.
