Payroll Advisor

The client are looking for someone with strong payroll experience to work as part of a busy team to process the company's payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Process and reconciling imports, enter payroll information into central systems and calculate salary changes based on employee attendance, records and ad-hoc requests.

P11d knowledge and understanding, Accuracy with data, A good Understanding of PAYE Procedures, Excellent Mathematical Skills, Attention to Detail, Good Computer skills, Organisation Skills, Familiarity with Wage Deductions, Good Verbal and written Communication?

Duties & Responsibilities:

Processing company's payroll every pay period for 17k employees

Maintain our payroll system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data

Calculating all statutory payments including Statutory Maternity Pay, Shared Parental leave.

Answering staff questions about wages, deductions and attendance

Calculating manual payslips as required

Adhere to payroll policies and procedures

Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies

Honour confidentiality of employee pay records

Assisting with production of P11d's

Reconciling imports and payments

Assisting the Payroll Team Leader as and when required

Identifying customer demands/failure and waste by collecting customer data and establishing relationships across HR and other business areas.

Administering daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activities associated with payroll processes

Prioritising and managing your workload to meet payroll deadlines and audit requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

Do the following statements apply to you? If so, we would be interested in seeing your CV.

Experience of working within a Payroll department, financial ledgers or accounts administration

Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities

A sound grasp of systems such as Microsoft Excel

Good numerical skills and work with amazing attention to detail

A payroll related qualification is advantageous.

Knowledge of Systems Thinking is advantageous.
