AJ Chambers are currently working with a leading accountancy firm based in Bury St Edmunds who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join their payroll team.

This is the ideal role for someone with experience working as part of a payroll team in practice, who is looking to join a prestigious firm.

Payroll Administrator Duties:

  • Processing of client payrolls
  • End of year compliance (P35s/P60s etc.) and on-going compliance (P45s etc.)
  • RTI reporting and CIS returns
  • Auto enrolment processing
  • Learning all aspects of the payroll function
  • Assisting the team with administrative duties
  • Attend training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills

Payroll Administrator Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ relevant payroll experience in public practice
  • Extensive knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing
  • Experience with Payroll software
  • Able to develop good working relationships with clients and their staff
