Payroll Administrator - French speaker - URGENT

The French Chamber of Commerce is looking for its Payroll Administrator .

With over 134 years of experience in the UK, 600 member companies and 30 members of staff, the French Chamber is the largest foreign Chamber in the UK and one of the 5 largest French Chambers worldwide.Its mission is to contribute to developing and fostering economic and commercial relations between France and Great Britain.

Key responsibilities include

Payroll management

  • Ensure that all the necessary information to process the monthly salaries is received on time
  • Process the payroll for clients
  • Register new Employees (P45, P46). Send P45 when employees leave
  • Send all the payslips to employees
  • Deal with incoming queries regarding the monthly payroll from both the employee and the employer
  • Maintain all the personal details of employees up to date
  • EOY declaration: file online P60, P45. Prepare and send P11D, P60 to employee
  • Monthly RTI reporting
  • Monthly pension reporting
  • Payment and recharges for salaries

Assisting the Implantation / Accounts Department in general administrative tasks

  • Assist the Accounts and Implantation Manager with any administration tasks that may be necessary.
  • Liaise with the Account Assistants in regards to client files
  • Liaise with the Projects Coordinator in regards to client telephone lines, redirections etc
  • Open all the incoming post and dispatch it to the relevant managers
  • File all the incoming post in the relevant client file
  • Help the Accounts and Implantation department prepare reports / presentations


  • Updating presentations regarding the Implantation and Accountancy Department services
  • Updating the list of domiciled clients
  • Updating the databases: input accurate data into Eudonet / Opera

Education and Experience requirements

  • French and English Payroll experience mandatory
  • French/English, excellent oral and written skills
  • Previous clients’ management experience, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a multicultural team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literate, excel, word, accounting package Pegasus Opera
