Pastoral Support Leader - Hatfield, Hertfordshire - Non-class based role supporting students - £108 per day - Immediate start on a temporary to permanent basis - Secondary age - Open to all TA's/LSA's/HLTA's with strong school experience
Are you currently involved in supporting either Primary, Secondary or SEN students in class but would like to work with them on a pastoral basis?
Are you keen to help students to remove all barriers to learning and help them return to class?
This Pastoral Leader role could be the perfect role for you!
***Pastoral Leader working with Secondary aged students
***£108 per day (Term time only - 41 weeks per year)
***8.30am to 4pm Monday -Friday
***Immediate start on a temporary to permanent basis
***Full training ongoing support and excellent opportunity to progress career
About the School
This well-run Alternative Provision school supports the individual education needs of its 50 plus, secondary aged pupils who are unable to cope in mainstream settings due to a range of issues. Every student at the school is treated as an individual with their own education plan designed to give them the greatest opportunity to succeed. Alongside the class teachers are an important part of the school network is the group of Pastoral Leaders who are responsible for helping students when they are struggling
Role requirements
- Experience of working in a school with students on a one to one or whole class basis
- Calm and approachable person who is happy to listen and advise
- Happy to work with students outside of the class
- Committed to a long-term role that could become permanent
