Partnerships Director, Central London - Up to £100k plus bonus/coms up to 100% of basic
My client is a marketing agency that specialises in delivering industry leading commercial and engagement partnerships. Partnerships that drive incremental growth for our clients, through leveraging their assets and customer base. They need a Partnerships Director to help them push the project on.
Currently they lead the partnerships charge on a new big brand digital customer loyalty and engagement platform, creating, developing and executing both tactical and strategic customer engagement and crucially monetisation partnerships with many of the UK’s biggest and best-loved brands. This Partnerships Director will be crucial to the success of the project.
Their new digital customer loyalty and engagement platform launched in February 2017 and delivers a mix of offers, content, rewards and experiences to the client’s customers via their mobile, every week. To date, the program has been positioned very much as a 'thank you’ proposition to the client’s customers with money off, chances to win and free stuff.
The plan during 2018 is to evolve the program customer offering, supported by improved customer segmentation, increased relevancy attribution, location based targeting and a number of other product enhancements into a successful monetisation platform, enabling their client to be able to really give their customers all of the things that they really want, when and where they want them.
As Partnerships Director, you’ll be tasked and be responsible / accountable for driving partnerships excellence through the agency, owning the team’s timely delivery of both engagement and monetised partnerships for the loyalty program on both a strategic and tactical level, allowing the delivery of significant revenue and engagement targets.
This Partnerships Director will lead the charge on partnership strategies, utilising your creativity and ideation skills, along with your commercial acumen to develop and mould each top tier partner, in line with the overarching product strategy, while intuitively ensuring that each partnership is optimised as the relationship progresses and solid plans are laid for the future benefit of all parties.
This is what we’re looking for in this Partnerships Director:
- Commercially-driven with previous experience in monetising clients’ assets and customer bases
- Digitally savvy with mobile experience being advantageous
- 10+ years management experience with experience in building and developing teams
- Have and be able to leverage a significant senior-level contact network with lots of the UK’s big-hitting brands
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven experience in negotiating and closing multi-layered partnerships
- Experience in Sales, NBD with a collaborative, relationship-building style
