Location:St Albans
Salary:£28k per annum, 25 days holiday (salary and holiday pro rated down to 2 days), plus (after probation) health cover, pension, life assurance, Income Protection.

Intelligent People are an exciting and fast-growing commercial recruitment company based in St Albans. Due to maternity leave we need to hire a Part Time Office Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running of the office and provide sales support to the consultancy teams.


-Ensure that the office environment runs smoothly - monitor and re-order supplies; manage the resolution of issues/problems; liaise with cleaning, IT and telecoms suppliers when needed.
-Manage the weekly food/refreshment order.
-Answer external calls and direct as appropriate.
-Organise events, sales trips, incentives, Christmas party, etc.
-Record sales figures and produce reports when needed.
-Work with Directors, Marketing Manager, Consultants and external suppliers as needed.
-Emptying dishwasher and keeping an eye on the kitchen area.

-Own a number of administrative tasks - raise invoices, manage credit control, raise contract paperwork, filing, scanning, etc.
-Manage the weekly contractor payroll and monthly staff payroll, working with external suppliers.

Sales Support
-Carry out administrative tasks on the CRM system.
-Carry out candidate update activities, re-engaging and registering lapsed candidates.
-Record sales performance and administer spreadsheets, providing ad-hoc reports.
-Raise, track and manage contract paperwork.

-Work with the marketing manager and management team to support ad-hoc marketing activities.
-Work with and source external content suppliers, oversee the creation of web content and copy, depending on experience.
-Possibly get involved in some social media activities.

Experience required

-Ideally previous experience in an administrative, secretarial, office management, finance, personal assistant or similar role.
-Excellent professional communication skills, oral and written.
-Strong literacy and numeracy.
-Ideally degree qualified, or equivalent experience.
-Competence with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
-Basic Excel experience.
-A good sense of humour.
