Financial Divisions are delighted to be supporting an Award-winning firm in their search for a Paraplanner to support a team of financial advisers, providing financial advice to individuals, businesses and charities.
As the Paraplanner, you will be working alongside 4 Partners in the Private Wealth team, who work with High Net Worth clients, who specifically require wealth management, estate planning and other financial planning (such as business or personal protection).
The average client has at least £500k to invest and so the successful candidate will be required to write bespoke reports that are specifically tailored to the client’s requirements. A high attention to detail, thinking outside the box, a 'personal touch’ and being able to deal with more complex investment solutions are therefore a prerequisite.
In addition, you will support Partners in carrying out high quality research on a full range of financial planning products in line with the company’s advice process and compliance framework and writing detailed strategy and recommendation reports resulting in specific recommendations. You will also be liaising with product providers when necessary, dealing directly with the Partners’ clients and keeping abreast of new products and developments.
The role of the Paraplanner will be varied and requires a numerate and articulate individual who is highly organised, self-motivated and can influence others. The ideal candidate must possess excellent PC skills and have proven communication skills.
You must have the ability to balance commercial needs with compliance requirements and be able to identify sales opportunities or flag any concerns.
Along with a competitive salary, there is a pension scheme up to 7.5% matched contribution, 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 days, sick pay, income protection, DIS - 4x, critical illness, childcare vouchers and interest free travel loan.
