Our client is a well established financial planning firm who are currently experience a period of rapid growth. We are now looking for a Paraplanner with experience and knowledge who can hit the ground running and get into the role in an efficient manner. This leading financial planning firm is experiencing a period of growth and as such, has an opportunity for the successful candidate to join a well established firm in which they can grow and develop.
This unique opportunity is a paraplanning role in which the chosen candidate will report directly to a Financial Planner with an expansive client bank assisting them throughout the entire client process, from the early client correspondence stage, through the suitability report writing and supervising the administrative staff to ensure a smooth client process.
The successful paraplanner will handle a large level of responsibility, overseeing staff and working very closely with a highly qualified financial planner. This is an opportunity to gain fantastic experience for anyone looking to develop into a financial planner in the future.
Preparing client reports - these may be in relation to pensions, investments, Trustee Investment, IHT planning and other associated financial planning requirements.
Handling both client and adviser queries and undertaking any necessary research.
Reviewing products available to meet client needs and making appropriate recommendation.
Undertaking review of new funds available to meet the requirements of the asset allocations and make recommendations to the Directors.
Ensuring all paperwork is compliant with FCA guidelines.
Continuing professional knowledge and learning.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
We are seeking an individual with paraplanning experience who can quickly take to the role, with a drive and determination to progress and continue to learn and grow with the business.
The successful candidate will have the following skillset;
You will ideally have attained the Diploma in Financial Planning, or currently be working towards
Excellent IT and communication skills and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within and outside the business
Ideally you will have a degree of pension transfer experience, due to the company dealing largely with Defined Benefit transfer cases.
