THE DEPARTMENT - Personal Injury Team

The Personal Injury & Court of Protection Team provides specialist guidance to individuals, families and their legal teams with respect to the appropriate composition of catastrophic damages awards and the ongoing financial management of those funds. The team works alongside Lawyers, Barristers and Charities delivering the required outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the Personal Injury Advisers and in partnership with the Team’s existing administrative support, you will be responsible for assisting the Adviser’s in achieving and where possible exceeding their annual targets and objectives.

Job Purpose:

To play an integral part of the existing support team and to provide paraplanning support to the Personal Injury Team.

This will require research, analysis and general administration on a day to day basis.

The Senior Manager and Advisers will be responsible for the continued development and training of the Paraplanner involving them in client meetings, report writing and prospecting.

Key Accountabilities:

New Business Processing

New Referral Processing

Preparation of annual statements and commentary

Assisting with research and advice

File Compliance

Database maintenance

Liaising with investment companies

Liaising with professional contacts which are mainly lawyers and also some client contact

Qualifications -

Level 4 Qualified

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Accurate keyboard skills

A good knowledge of regulatory requirements

Experience

Experience of working within a

high pressure environment

Personal Attributes

Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner

Excellent personal organisational and administrative planning skills

The ability to work well within a team environment and build effective working relationships

An eagerness to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge
