My client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their well established and respected business, a Norwich success story which you have the chance to join and be part of their continued achievements.

This role involves providing vital paraplanning support to the team of Financial Planners and Directors; researching products, investment strategies and financial planning solutions, tax calculations, preparing financial planning and recommendation reports, including provision of a high level of technical support.

Primary Functions

You will provide research/report writing and any other sales back up support to the Directors and Financial Planners (as assigned) and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met for new and existing clients.

You will act as a point of reference for technical research.

You will develop and maintain a good working relationship with financial institutions.

You will maintain and develop knowledge in all areas of financial planning.

You will attend client meetings (key clients)

You will advise on financial services products

Primary Duties

You will maintain a good working relationship with existing clients.

You will research - products, investment solutions and financial planning strategies.

Paraplanning - production of compliant reports/suitability letters.

You will develop client banks for both existing and new clients.

You will ensure all business is conducted in an ethical and compliant manner.

You will provide support to the compliance function, including but not restricted to complaint handling, project work, ensuring the firm adheres to FCA and other requirements, production / maintenance of suitability templates, training and competence scheme. Assisting with team training and development as and when requested.

Qualifications and Experience

It is desirable that you are Diploma qualified Paraplanner, you must however hold a certificate in Financial Planning.

You must have experience in a similar environment working as a Paraplanner
