Oracle Database Engineer (Cloud) - Hybrid - Zurich
A leading company in the digital transformation of the financial and insurance industry is looking for an experienced Cloud Database (Oracle) Engineer to join their team.
In this position, you will be part of the Database team, working on the company's Cloud based solutions, as well as contributing to the development of modern, scalable, and secure database architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and continue to improve the Managed Database Service portfolio.
- Ensuring the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Oracle databases.
- Continuously optimising processes through scripting and developing automation and standardisation routines.
- Providing consulting and support for customers regarding database services.
- Willingness to be on call for emergency support.
Ideal Experience / Background:
- Experience with Linux, shell programming, and automation (preferably using Ansible).
- Experience in administering Oracle Multitenant architectures, including ASM.
- Comfortable using Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
- Proficient in both German (written and spoken) and English.
