Operations Manager

• Annual Salary: Negotiable - Circa £65000 - 70,000 plus bonus scheme
• Location: Site-based role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our production, assembly, logistics, distribution, and storage functions. The ideal candidate will ensure quality control, cost efficiency, high performance, staff morale, and safety compliance. This role is pivotal in driving improvements and growth to meet performance targets in all areas and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Oversee production, assembly, logistics, distribution, and storage functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive quality control measures, cost efficiency, high performance, staff morale, and safety compliance.
• Implement continuous improvements and innovations to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Adopt best practices in inventory management and material procurement.
• Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Provide operational support for growth plans within a highly regulated environment.
• Manage diverse revenue streams and occasionally oversee remote site operations.
• Enhance the measurement and control of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Support growth in the instrumentation and export sectors of the business.
• Maintain oversight of manufacturing and distribution functions.
• Improve individual employee productivity through effective management and measurement.
• Develop a positive work culture focused on accountability and performance.

• Proven experience in operations management within a similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities and take corrective actions.
• Experience in managing diverse revenue streams and overseeing remote site operations.
• Ability to contribute to the company’s EBITDA indirectly.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as sites operate 24/5 and 24/7 when needed.
