Operations Administrator

Our client are looking to recruit an excellent administrator for their Chessington office on a temp to perm basis. Starting as soon as possible, for the right candidate this position could become permanent after as little as a month.

Job Description

  • Preparing apartment literature for the Ops Support team to take with them for upgrades
  • Keeping accurate records of all ordering and spending by project
  • Managing the Operations Shared Drive to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Reconciliation of Operations Staff credit card bills
  • Inputting invoices onto the Invoice Log and passing to Finance for payment
  • Ensuring all new electrical equipment is registered on the appropriate Warranty Scheme
  • Keeping accurate records of all company vehicles - servicing, repairs, fuel expenditure
  • Ensuring our warehouse apartment stock levels are maintained at all times by purchasing through our suppliers
  • Logging all Out of Hours calls and reports
  • Keeping the stock tidy and well organised
  • Logging of all temp staff spend and recruitment costs
  • Creating new SOPs as directed by Department Leaders

Person specification

  • Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to keep up-to-date, accurate records
  • Ability to follow existing, and shape new, Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and be accountable
  • Organisational skills - prioritising, following-up, accurate record-keeping
  • Friendly, confident and with a good sense of humour
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure - this is vital
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • A 'can-do’ approach and keen eye for detail

Additional Information

  • Based in Chessington
  • £23,000
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • 21 Days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required for business needs)
  • Temp to perm position
