This Office Administrator position is for a leading upholstery business based in Preston. You will be required to carry out all administrative duties within the office to ensure the effective running of the company.

Our client is a leading upholstery business based in Preston. They are a well established company who take pride in creating beautifully handcrafted furniture.


The key responsibilities for this Office Administrator:

  • Answering telephone and email enquiries
  • Photocopying
  • Diary management
  • Arranging deliveries
  • Managing and distributing key office information
  • Sending and receiving post
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • All other administrative tasks required by the office


The successful Office Administrator:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in an Administration role
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Be diligent and dependable
  • Able to process large quantities of data quickly and accurately
  • Previous experience in the furniture industry desirable

Job Offer

The successful Office Administrator will receive:

  • A salary of between £18,000-£22,000 based on experience
  • The chance to work for one of the UK's leading upholstery businesses based in Preston
