Network Engineer | National Security Consultancy | Up to £80,000 | London | Active High Level Clearance Required

Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading national security consultancy specialising in providing top-notch solutions to ensure the safety and security of our nation's critical infrastructure.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Network Engineer to join due to an increase in project workload. To be successful you will need Strong experience in the design, build & maintenance of secure network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VLAN, Cisco Routers & Switches.

They're based in London & active high level clearance is essential.

What you will be doing:

• Design, implement, and optimise complex network architectures to meet the stringent security requirements of national security clients.

• Ensure that network infrastructure and configurations comply with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and security best practices.

• Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams and national security clients to understand their specific network requirements and objectives. Provide expert guidance, consultation, and recommendations for network improvements and security enhancements.

The experience you will bring to the team:

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching, VPN technologies, and network security. In particular Cisco products.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption protocols.

• CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are highly desirable.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
