Do you want to with a global service provider who are seeking a dynamic Network Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of operational networks, particularly focusing on SCADA and OT networks. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge network and telemetry operations within a Utilities environment.

Location: Wokingham (Onsite 3 days per week)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + company benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will serve as the primary liaison for business services, including project coordination and service transition.
  • You will oversee all resources, including third-party service providers, to ensure efficient operational management and control of CNI SCADA and CNI networks, prioritizing resilience, safety, and security.
  • You will lead incident management efforts on CNI networks, conducting root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and ensure rapid recovery.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • You will have experience with IP/MPLS/Ethernet/SDH networks, preferably in a Utilities context.
  • You will have a strong ability to manage resources effectively for optimal network and telemetry operations.
  • You will have experience overseeing outsourced services in an ITIL environment, with a track record of setting direction and standards in operational network environments.
  • You will have knowledge of network, telemetry, and SCADA infrastructure technologies, including network monitoring tools and fault diagnosis.
