Our client is a talented design agency based in Birmingham. They are part of a marketing activation group and stand out as a global leader in shopper marketing and retail branding, with a huge focus on in-store and on-pack visual communication. Their passions lie in the art of using design to amplify brands in the most effective and efficient ways possible. They offer strategic direction and design integrity to give brands global scale, specialising in packaging design, the creation of variant extensions, design roll-out, strategic development and art direction.
They are based at impressive offices on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre with plenty of parking. Birmingham offers a place for everyone, whether that’s new apartments in the city centre, trendy suburbs a few miles out, or idyllic towns and villages in surrounding rural areas; all with easy transport links to the city.
As Middleweight/Senior Branding and Packaging Graphic Designer, you will work across branding, brand development and conceptual designs for a range of on-pack visual communications for one of the UK’s biggest confectionary brands. You will enjoy working across strategic and creative projects, helping your clients solve creative problems on the shelf and out of home. You will work alongside Artworkers and other Designers to create a final suite of work that fits together seamlessly as a campaign and demonstrably ladders up to the overarching concept.
Working as part of a team, you will be entrusted with a high degree of creative custodianship to deliver projects that are on brand and on time. You will be expected to immerse yourself in the brand and become a guardian of its visual language; ensuring that work is outputted to the highest standard and always of a quality that will impress client from both a professional and creative standpoint.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- A portfolio of exciting work for well-known FMCG brands
- Strong ability to interpret briefs and come up with adventurous ideas
- Able to stand up for your ideas and strive for the best solution
