Membership & Student Development Manager
Central London or Northamptonshire Office Base.
Basic Salary £40,000, OTE: £45,000 plus Car and other benefits
Permanent, Full Time
(2 Days in the office, 2 in the field and possibly 1 from home)
My client a reputable and established membership body based in Central London or Northamptonshire is currently searching for a Membership & Student Development Manager.
The role is to increase the number of paying members and Chartered Managers through successful engagement with partners both in the UK and Internationally.
If you have experience as Membership Development, Membership Recruitment, Membership Engagement Manager working for a Trade Association, Professional Body. Not for Profit Membership Body, Awarding Body, Chartered Institute we would love to hear from you.
Ensure the institute member propositions, products and supporting business processes maximise member recruitment, retention and income by: converting learners into paid membership, driving members towards Chartered status, recruiting new members through our partnerships, retaining members by ensuring our membership propositions provide members with demonstrable value through engagement, profile and status.
Manage the Leaders community and develop the proposition to meet the needs of our
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to grow our paying member base.
Engagement Managers to convert students/learners into paid membership.
Customer and Product Proposition team to create a compelling propositions to drive engagement.
Marketing team to plan membership campaigns that leading to; member recruitment, retention and conversion.
Maintain and develop new professional body partnerships to extend our membership offer and broaden our influence.
Continually grow the number of Chartered members though effective member engagement activities.
Manage the Membership Development budget.
Support the International growth strategy in our targeted markets by contributing to member engagement campaigns.
Be a credible ambassador for the institute, role modelling institute values and its professional code of conduct.
Ensure institute resources are managed effectively and responsibly, through a culture of continuous improvement, which delivers value for money and quality service standards.
Fulfil the key responsibilities of the job role in a professional manner adapting to changing circumstances and re-prioritising accordingly.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Proven business development or account management experience
Experience of project management and report writing
Proven success of working in a similar role
Experience of working with database management systems
Working in commercially focused organisations
B2B sales and operational processes
Able to engage with people at a senior management level
Occasional/regular UK travel
