I am recruiting for a Membership & Accreditation Manager to join a small association based in Central London.
Our client is looking for an experienced candidate who can take on a role that is both strategic and operational. The role will involve leading a smaller association through its business strategy, dealing with board members and implementing decisions that will affect the niche sector. In addition, the development of a specific training plan for the sector will be required as the organisation looks to develop the professionalism of the association to help benefit members further.
The successful candidate must be confident with budgeting and financial management, engaging with high level individuals/stakeholders, creating a strategy for individual and corporate members, delivering on big projects, line managing staff and running the day to day operations of the association (including networking at events and conferences).
This role is diverse in terms of its responsibilities. You will be required to be hands on with many tasks whilst delivering on the long-term strategy, almost like a CEO of a small company! Experience working for a membership or regulatory body, or a trade association, and dealing with committees, are highly desirable traits.
