At our branch in Preston we operate a number of market leading recruitment websites in the aviation, automotive and law industries, amongst others. In a nutshell, we help businesses recruit quickly and cost effectively through one or more of our services.

We are currently recruiting for a new B2B Marketing Executive to join our team in our office in Fulwood, Preston to help us with our future goals and growth ambitions, on one of the most successful brands within the group, Aviation Job Search.

The opportunity

Your main priority will be to head up the the lead generation for our market leading niche job boards. This will involve promoting our products and services to the B2B audience using suitable elements of the marketing mix to various targeted markets.

Salary: £20,000 per annum

What does success look like?

The coordination of strong campaigns that generate varying strengths of leads for either the sales team to convert into deals, or to transact online. The campaign messaging should be informative and be placed on the most appropriate channels. Working with the wider marketing team to relay important B2C & product highlights is fundamental. Successful campaigns will also involve working closely with the sales team to ensure the messaging is mirrored in their calls.

Key metrics will include:

  • Volume of leads

  • Revenue coming directly the leads you pass over to the sales team

  • Online revenue

  • Milestones of improving the customer journey of both potential new business prospects and current clients.

Key responsibilities & initial priorities:

  • Organising strong B2B campaigns to segments of our leads in line with the overall business aims. These must be highly targeted and consistently of a good quality.

  • Utilising a wide range of marketing tools, such as email marketing, live chat, events, direct mail, development of landing pages, marketing automation etc.

  • Working closely with the Sales and Account Management team to ensure leads are being passed over and chased regularly.

  • Liaising and building strong working relationships with the various specialist teams to bring strong campaigns to life, eg design, email, product, SEO, PPC, branding etc.

  • Reporting on your work and return on investment regularly in a professional manner.

  • Maintaining our leads lists and ensuring they’re up to date and are being used correctly within our campaigns.

  • Be able to spot strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within the B2B marketplaces.

  • Communicating with existing customers and ensuring they’re happy, well informed and their opinions are fed into the development team.

  • Working to improve the user friendliness of our online platforms for the B2B audience.

Preferable experience

  • A good knowledge of Dotmailer or a similar mailing system.

  • A confident understanding of Wordpress and how to build effective landing pages.

  • Basic Google Sheets or Excel skills.

  • Familiarity with live chat and social media platforms

  • Strong B2B copywriting experience
