Managing Recruiter | Harmonic Finance Inc | B Corp Certified Company

Harmonic Finance & Operations are one of the fastest growing recruitment businesses in the UK, and we’ve just launched in Boston! As the world’s only B Corp in our space, we are the go-to search partner for Tech Scale-Ups and the Creative Industries seeking Finance and Operations talent.

We take pride in our model that emphasizes the development and growth of our colleagues. We are a team of 6 and with the opportunity for expansion, we’re seeking experienced recruiters who are looking to develop into future leaders! This is a brilliant opportunity for those who want to be at the forefront of the US growth within a business that already has strong foundations and a proven track record in the UK. Multiple office launches are on the horizon!

The Opportunity

In response to high demand from US funds invested in our UK and European client base, we launched Harmonic Finance Inc in Boston in 2021. To spearhead our ongoing expansion, our Co-founder, Fin Glanvill, relocated to Boston in March 2023.

Led by our Founder, Charlie Walker, who has successfully founded and scaled 2 international recruitment businesses, Harmonic is poised to replicate its exponential growth in the US market.

As a vital member of our US team, you’ll become a market specialist in the Tech Start-Up market. You’ll work with Boston and the East Coast’s fastest growing companies to find and recruit top Finance & Accounting talent, enabling their organizations to thrive. Initially, the short term focus will be on building strong client relationships and delivering consistent performance.

But the potential doesn’t end there - 90% of our Senior Leadership team joined the business without management experience. With plans for significant international expansion, we’re seeking individuals who are keen to develop into inspiring leaders, make substantial revenue contributions, become genuine industry experts and ultimately evolve into strategic 'businesspeople’. In the coming years, there will be opportunities to take ownership of specific parts and regions of the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for your own business development, client acquisition and 360 recruitment processes.
  • Build trusted relationships with Founders, CEOs and CFOs across the US and offer consultation on business and recruiting matters.
  • Support the building of the 'HarmonicBrand’ via online communication, company events (and look to establish strategic partnerships with industry bodies and major players).
  • Act as an ambassador for our company values supporting the development of a high performing, kind and respectful culture in the office.
  • Maintain and inspire high standards across the business.

The Essentials

  • Prior recruitment experience within a 360 role (minimum 1 year).
  • Ambitious, driven with proactive attitude - we want people who want to make a tangible impact!
  • An appreciation and sharing of our values.

Package & Benefits

  • Negotiable base salary with a competitive commission structure.
  • Medical cover, including dental, vision and life insurance.
  • Annual bonus (linked to display of values).
  • 1 x company weekend away (paid for by Harmonic!).
  • Company lunches.
  • Incentives relating to music, health and fitness and food.
  • Funded home working set up (we have a 4.5-day work week with half days on Friday!).
  • 20 vacation days (rising by 1 day per year of service to 25 days) + public holidays.
