Management Development Trainer

New opportunity for a Management Development Trainer in Chatham, Kent. This position involves the ongoing development of new and existing management for a company in the Financial Sector. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £35,000-£45,000, depending on the candidate’s previous experience.

In this role you will report to the Senior Operational Development Manager and be responsible for the following:
• The achievement of business objectives
• Fostering and embedding a culture of excellence based on the company’s values
• Career Pathway planning, Succession Planning and Continued Professional Development
• Talent Profiling of the management employee base
• Engagement and retention of management employees
• The development and holistic assessment of management competence, conduct and ethical behaviours aligned to meet regulatory requirements defined by the Financial Conduct Authority, including the Senior Managers Regime and the business approach to Training & Competence.
• Promoting equality and diversity
• Legal compliance with Health Safety Executive requirements
You will:
• Design and deliver a suite of regulatory and behavioural Line Management training workshops, conferences and meetings
• Maximise attendance of all training workshops to meet organisational targets
• Analyse knowledge transfer and effectiveness of all workshops and programmes post-implementation to make recommendations for the modification and improvement of existing material
• Contribute to the design and version control of evolving content, training manuals, multimedia visual aids, training activities and other educational materials, ensuring that all learning styles are supported
• Provide developmental field support to individual/small groups of managers as appropriate
• Ensure and driving a consistent culture of excellence through all training interactions
The role will require occasional travel to the company’s London offices and subsidiary organisations, primarily based in London and the South East. International travel may occasionally be required.

Essential requirements:
• 2 years’ previous experience in the design and delivery of a wide range of Line Management skills workshops and coaching sessions
• Robust knowledge of best practice techniques to undertake effective Training Needs Analysis
• Specialist knowledge of the best practice techniques required to design and deliver inspiring, engaging and effective workshops or briefings to all employees
• 2 years’ Line Management experience
• Level 3 CIPD
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Coaching certification/qualifications are highly desirable but not essential
