Management accountant job with Store Property in Chichester

Your new company
Store Property is a well-established property investment company based in Chichester. The company has a substantial turnover and a portfolio of varied high quality commercial assets in London and throughout the South East. They are seeking a Management Accountant to work at their office in Chichester.

Your new role
As a member of the accounts team, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will assist with the day to day functions of the finance department. Together with sales and purchase ledger processing, your duties will include; responsibility for ensuring rents are invoiced and collected, full ledger reconciliation, preparation of VAT returns including partial exemption calculations, CIS, service charge reconciliations of actual against budgets & recovery of balances, monitoring of budgets & forecasts, proving loan interest charges, preparing bank covenant reports, ensuring compliance with the mortgage terms and issuing compliance certificates to lenders and completion of year-end consolidated accounts with corporate tax computations.

Experience of all these duties and previous property knowledge is useful but not essential. This is a varied, hands-on role working alongside a highly skilled team and training where necessary will be provided.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant, technically attuned and having worked in a similar role. You have a keen eye for detail with sound knowledge in financial control, keeping all accounts balanced and to a high standard. What you'll get in return
Depending upon experience, you will receive a salary of between £35,000 to £45,000 + competitive benefits; non-contributory pension, and 25 days annual leave. The company offices are modern and spacious with facilities including a shower and are a close walk away from Chichester city centre. A parking permit will be provided at the closest car park which is a 2 minute walk from the office.
