Our head office is based in London's West End with virtual offices in Hamburg and Stockholm.
We currently employ c60 staff, offering permanent and contract staffing solutions.
The business has grown rapidly during the last three years, now turning over £20m with NFI of over £6m.
There are ambitious plans to continue to grow the business and further expand the international offering.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing business with real plans and potential. Joining the finance team of a growing recruitment business and working closely with the Finance and Operations Director. This is a high-profile role offering exposure to all directors within the business and a chance to drive continuous improvement and insight.
Owning the production of the monthly management accounts, providing insight, analysis and commentary.
Preparation and review of detailed departmental accounts.
Reviewing monthly overhead spend vs budget and identifying areas of overspend.
Supporting the Finance and Operations Director in preparing and monitoring annual and quarterly budgets.
Preparation and review of the weekly forecast including reporting to the directors on the variances.
Overseeing the processing and submission of all bank transactions.
Responsible for the reconciliation of net fee income (margin) between the multiple systems the business uses.
Liaison/management of the relationship with external auditors to ensure all deadlines/requirements are achieved.
A finance professional with experience working within the recruitment sector would be a preference however this isn't essential.
Either in the process of qualifying of having completed your studies at either AAT/ACCA/CIMA. Study support can be provided if required.
Awareness of both permanent and contract based recruitment functions would be beneficial but not essential.
Strong commercial awareness with an interest in the business and understanding how a business works.
Ability to work independently as well as being a true team player.
A confident character able to build relationships with all stakeholders within the business.
Experience of the following systems would be beneficial, but not essential, training will be provided;
