Manchester Staff is currently looking for a talented Supplier Relationship Manager to join a prestigious luxury design firm, renowned for creating bespoke and exquisite spaces that epitomize elegance to each of their projects.

Position Overview:
As the Supplier Relationship Manager, you will oversee the sourcing and acquisition of premium materials, furnishings, and decor for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality, an extensive network of suppliers, and a passion for delivering unparalleled luxury experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the design team to understand project requirements, aesthetic vision, and budget constraints.
  • Research and identify the most exclusive and high-quality materials, furnishings, and decor items that align with the design concept and client preferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with luxury vendors, artisans, and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing, exclusive offerings, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage the procurement process from initial sourcing to final delivery, including order placement, tracking, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to schedule deliveries and installations in accordance with project timelines and specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure that all materials and furnishings meet our stringent standards of excellence.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and new product releases to continuously elevate our offerings and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role, preferably within the luxury interior design or high-end hospitality industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury materials, furnishings, and decor suppliers, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering flawless execution and exceptional quality.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
