Lighting Technician

Location: North London
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum | OTE £31K - £35K

The Company:

A technical production company specialising in providing lighting, sound and video equipment for prestigious private parties and corporate events. Join our team of passionate event technology professionals and help us create unforgettable experiences.

The Role:

As a Lighting Technician, you will be an integral part of our events team, responsible for setting up, programming, and operating lighting systems at various events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the warehouse to prepare equipment for each event.
  • Rig and set up lighting fixtures and consoles on-site.
  • Programme and operate lighting desks during events, such as GrandMA, Avolites, and Chamsys.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise with junior technicians.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Supervise freelance technicians on-site.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and act as a point of contact for clients during events.
  • Shutdown and pack away equipment after each event.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in programming and operating lighting consoles, such as GrandMA, Avolites, and Chamsys.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an AV or lighting technician.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence.

Package details:

  • Salary range of £26K- £28K, depending on experience.
  • Overtime rates of 1.5X - our technicians typically earn an additional £5K - £7K.
  • 30 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
