Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a strong background in Litigation and/ or Property departments ?
Our client is a leading full service private practice law firm based in Hampshire with a strong reputation for high standards of client care and providing excellent legal advice. Dur to an internal move, they now require a talented full-time Legal Secretary to assist a Partner and Senior Consultant across two departments in Winchester .
The role will be suitable for an experienced Secretary with legal secretarial and administration experience gained within the Litigation, Commercial Property, Real Estate or Float departments of a law firm.
Duties will include:
Fast and accurate audio and copy typing using digital dictation
Relaying accurate telephone messages from client to fee earner, taking action in fee earners absence if appropriate
Diary management (including arranging meetings and making travel arrangements when necessary)
Use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel and Word
Dealing with file opening/closing and archiving
Carrying out on-line searches including SDLT and Land Registry
Dealing with expense claims
General office duties such as filing and photocopying
Keys skills and attributes:
Audio typing skills
Organised and efficient
Excellent communication skills
Able to remain calm under pressure
