Legal Secretary Conveyancing

Our client, a highly established firm of solicitors is seeking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their expanding and successful department.

Duties

  • Providing a full support function to the senior partner and conveyancing team.
  • Dealing with enquiries and directing to relevant fee earner
  • Perform searches under instruction from the Senior Partner
  • Accurate typing of correspondence and related particulars
  • Communicating with all stakeholders within the conveyancing process
  • Ensure compliance documentation is valid and recorded accordingly
  • Diary management
  • Maintaining client files and filing in line with company policies and procedures ,both paper and electronic

Background/Skills:

  • Previous experience within conveyancing is essential either in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal capacity
  • Excellent IT skills, including audio and copy typing, 65 - 70 wpm
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Good problem solver
  • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible team player

Based: Exeter
Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary : negotiable dependent on experience
