Providing comprehensive administrative support to a team of fee earners specialising in conveyancing, the successful applicant will utilise their skills to confidently manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of case management software
• Exchanging contracts
• Drawing up contracts
• Preparing contracts, transfers, trust deeds and correspondence
• Dealing with completion statements
• Raising solicitors invoices
• Taking client instructions
• Undertake online searches
• Completing Land Registry and SDLT forms online
• DX cover
• Reception duties
• Postal duties
• Liaising with professionals involved in property transactions
• Legal secretaries, legal assistants and paralegals with a minimum of one year’s experience
• Experience in conveyancing law is required
• IT proficiency is essential
• A friendly and confident telephone manner will be a pre-requisite
• Work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Pro-active, highly organised and detail orientated
• Excel in communication both verbally and written
