Are you an experienced ISO Auditor looking to take on a new challenge?
Our greatest asset is our workforce, so the health, safety and welfare of our employees is of the utmost importance. The group’s ‘HomeSafe ’initiative runs through everything we do, from our policies and procedures to our compliance and culture and is something that all our people can take responsibility for. We are proudly certified to ISO45001.
We also hold the ISO 9001 certification and Viridor was the first UK waste company to achieve both the ISO 14001 certification across all of our major operational sites and more recently the ISO 50001 energy efficiency standard.
The Group Risk and Compliance function is seeking a high calibre, experienced and ambitious Lead ISO Auditor to join the team. The successful candidates can be based at Taunton or Rochester but will travel between the two.
Reporting directly to the Group Risk and Compliance Manager, the Lead ISO Auditor will focus on developing and providing a high-quality ISO audit programme across the Viridor business.
You will coordinate and deliver the management system audit programme covering ISO45001 (Health and safety) as well as supporting Viridor’s other certified management systems such as ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental), ISO50001 (Energy) and Competence Management Systems, highlighting any actual or potential non-conformance in a timely and accurate manner.
We also maintain a Competence Management System which demonstrates our technically competence to undertake a wide range of permitted waste operations in accordance with all our regulatory requirements. The Group Risk and Compliance function provides value adding, independent assurance to management and the Board on the effectiveness of Pennon’s management systems.
