We’re recruiting for a fantastic law firm based in the City who requires a Junior Legal Secretary / Administrator with some office / administration experience, a keen interest in law and preferably a Law A-level or CILEX.
Joining a dynamic and forward thinking organisation based in stunning offices overlooking the Thames, you will need to have excellent administration skills together with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. A proactive, hardworking and flexible nature is key to succeeding in this position.
Please note this role isn't suited to a Law Graduate.
Typical duties could include:
- Diary management
- Client liaison and meetings
- Managing deadlines
- Liaising with fee earners and Accounts team/invoicing
- Monitoring emails and ensuring everything is actioned
- Collecting official post and distributing to the relevant fee earner
- Generating standard letters and documentation
- Preparing cost estimates
- Office administration and support (setting up meeting rooms, serving refreshments, post and couriers etc)
- Plus more!
You must have the ability to learn quickly and accurately. You will have good organisational and time management skills and be a confident communicator with a solid work ethic.
