We are working with an instantly recognisable Intellectual Property law firm, as they seek to enhance their business offering to their Japan-based clients and if successful you will be assisting the firm’s established business development team with their activities in the Japan region, and with the firm’s established Japanese client base.
As a native Japanese speaker, the main aspects of your role will be:+
- Communicating with established Japanese clients, which may be Japanese based companies or law firms
- Advising the business development team on matters of Japanese culture, both in a business setting and more generally
- Creating and advising on potential new business opportunities in the area
- Miscellaneous translation activities and other duties as they arise
There is a real prospect to make this role your own, assisting the firm in many ways as they strengthen their foothold in the important Japanese market. You will be able to bring to the firm practical experience of the Japanese working environments and business cultures.
It is essential that you are fully bilingual in Japanese and English, as well as having the organisational and IT skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced, modern office environment.
