IT Technician

We are assisting one of our clients with the recruitment of an experienced IT Technician for the Manchester Office. The role. Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technician will support the wider business in coordinating, planning, and supporting with IT-related activities. You will help determine the IT needs of the organisation and will be responsible for implementing IT equipment and systems to fulfil the business's information system requirements across the UK firm.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for the IT helpdesk management for all IT related incidents across multiple locations and when necessary, escalating to the external third-party support partners.
• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of the business IT software, systems, and equipment. This includes operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones, and peripherals.
• Providing IT advice and support when systems are being upgraded or installed, or when system migrations or system maintenances are being carried out.
• Assist in the research and Procurement of IT equipment including Dell and Apple hardware covering desktops, laptops and telecoms.
• Assisting multiple offices in the use of video Conference technology.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen and willing to learn via inhouse or personal training courses
• Ability to work within a dynamic team environment and also in a standalone role
• Willingness to travel between multiple office locations spread across London and Manchester
• Knowledge of systems dynamics, azure, autosuite (revitetc), Autocad
• Experience of architecture and implementation in addition to service line support
