IT Support Manager

The Company:

My client is a regionally based UK wide business who are looking for an IT Support Manager to join their internal IT team on a full-time basis. You will be required to support a Windows and SaaS based environment, an internal service desk and contribute to IT strategies going forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team, including a number Service Desk staff
  • Manage the helpdesk environment
  • Manage and procure IT services from Vendors
  • Manage the Server, Network and VOIP environment
  • Project Manage upgrades, rollouts etc.
  • Technically troubleshoot escalated server/network/VOIP issues
  • Contribute to developing IT strategies

You will have experience supporting and managing the following technologies:

  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Office
  • Active Directory
  • Backup and Archive platforms
  • Networking
  • Patching / Malware Protection
  • VOIP / Mitel PBX
  • Hardware and Equipment procurement
  • Mobile Management
  • Wi-Fi
  • Desktop support and deployment

Beneficial but non-essential experience:

  • ITIL Service Management
  • SQL Server Support
  • Cloud server environments
